Edmonton Fingerprinting Services offices are equipped with advanced LiveScan technology and certified printer to print the fingerprints on a standard RCMP C216C form or FBI fingerprint card FD-258.
Alternative to traditional Ink & Roll fingerprinting, we can also take your fingerprints with the Live Scan device and print the fingerprints on a standard RCMP C216C form or FBI fingerprint card FD-258 with a printer certified by the RCMP. This process is also accepted by the FBI and other law enforcement agencies.
While most applicants will be able to take advantage of digital fingerprinting sessions, traditional ink and roll fingerprints are required for foreign police checks (including an FBI check), some high level Canadian security screening purposes and for those individuals whose fingerprints are of too poor quality for electronic submission.
Fingerprint technicians at Edmonton Fingerprinting Services understand the requirements for fingerprint submission to the RCMP and to foreign countries for criminal record checks and are able to advise you regarding your eligibility for electronic submission of your fingerprints. We are equipped with an embosser seal to authenticate the fingerprint cards when it is specifically required by the authority of a foreign country.
Our office does provide RCMP fingerprints form and USA FBI fingerprints card. If a criminal record check is required from another country, please ensure you attend our office with all of the necessary forms, identification, photos, and fingerprint cards (if applicable). Some countries do accept RCMP fingerprints form, but some countries have their own specific forms, you will have to check with the authority to make sure an appropriate form to be used. If you attend our office with a fingerprint card that has a space for a photo, please ensure you bring a recent photo of the appropriate size with you, or you can taken the photo in our office.
For applicants requiring submission of a physical fingerprint card to the RCMP, processing times can take an average of 120 days provided no criminal record is encountered.
